INDIA PICTURES

The purpose of the trip is to see the work of the Holy Cross Brothers. Here we are at the orphanage they run in Bangalore:


And here we are as special guests at the elite Holy Cross school that helps to fund their work with the poor. The school had an assembly for us. Check out the sweet fresh "garlands they gave us:


We also saw some ancient Hindu ruins and sculpture in caves:


Okay, we also took in some pop culture. Rafael Nadal was playing in town, and $2 got us these tickets:


Back to real Indian culture. Catherine and I at a huge sculpture of Gandhi, known in India as "the Father of the Nation."


And we ended the trip at the amazing Taj Mahal:
